Well, I go by a few other names, like Mommy, Melissa and Mama Luna. I have one wonderful daughter and a terrific husband. I work part time as a case manager in a homeless shelter, and I am a social worker by training. I love what I do there, because it's so rewarding to help people get into a better living situation then they were in when I met them.
In my spare time, I write this blog, which is mostly just meant to be fun and hopefully informative! I sell Barefoot Books, which is so much fun! If you've never heard of Barefoot Books, I would strongly encourage you to visit my website. I do events like ladies nights out and craft fairs as well as doing home parties!
I also make jewelry and sell it online, which I just love doing! It's a great outlet for me. I also enjoy knitting, which keeps my hands busy while I watch TV in the evenings! Other hobbies include reading, video games and long walks on the beach!
I enjoy learning about new parenting skills, crafting skills, and anything else to help me be a well-rounded person. I like to stay busy and can usually be found doing something with my family or working on my jewelry/blog/knitting/whatever else.
