Fall Volunteer Opportunities

Greetings! I wanted to let you all know about some fall volunteer opportunities coming up at Seacoast Interfaith Hospitality Network, the program for families experiencing homelessness that I work out.

The following are volunteer opportunities that are available through Seacoast IHN.

AUCTION:

Set up crew -

Place: The Masonic Temple, 351 Middle Street, Portsmouth, NH

Date: Thursday, November 5th

Time: 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM or until set up complete

Duties: Set up tables, auction items, food tables, check out tables, decorate, assist in other duties

Auction Workers -

Place: Masonic Temple

Date: Thursday, Nov. 5th

Time: 5 PM to 9:30 PM

Duties: Work as an auction assistant. Could be food, sales, general auction, table runners, etc. Break down will begin at 9 PM.

Free food, music, lots of fun

PUMPKIN PATCH WORKERS:

Place: Shaw's Supermarket, Portsmouth Ave, Stratham, NH

Dates: Oct. 18th through Oct. 31

Times: Monday through Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM. Sunday Noon to 6 PM

Duties: Enjoy the outdoors and assist people purchasing pumpkins. Measure and price pumpkins, hand out shelter literature, smile, enjoy. Ability to make change necessary. Must be honest with a desire to assist families with children experiencing homelessness.
