So yes, Hannah is crawling now, which is very exciting. She's getting quite good, and moving pretty fast... when she's not experimenting with the bear crawl... It's fun to watch her move around, and I'm glad she doesn't go near the stairs yet, because I've been having issues with getting our gate mounted. She stays away from the basement stairs too, because we have a pressure mounted gate in the hallway, so she can't even get down the hall.
Her new thing now is pulling herself up to stand!
She's been having a lot of fun pulling herself up on our coffee table - it's just the right hight for her as you can see in the photo.
Today my parents came over and helped us plant some new shrubs in front of the house:
The ones on the far outside of the house are lilacs (yay!), the middle ones are holly and the ones next to the steps are boxwood. I have to be diligent about watering them, which could prove difficult, but since I want them to do well, I will be doing my best to water them every day for the next couple of weeks. I'm so excited to have shrubs planted here - we've been in our house for... 2 years now? Wow, has it really been that long??? Man, time really flies.
Anyway, that's pretty much all of the current news. Hope to get back to posting more regularly, now that we're back on a pretty normal routine!
