Pictures
Still no pictures back from the family portraits - those will be coming back on Friday! For now, I have some photos to share of recent 6 month pictures of Hannah, as well pictures from the tornado damage I saw in Epsom while driving to and from my parents house on Saturday. So, here they are:

Wow am I behind...
I can't believe I haven't updated in two weeks! I guess I've just been busy with various other things. We went away to Wells, Maine the weekend of 4th of July, so I've got some pictures to share from that trip.
John and I have been playing tennis a lot more lately, and we both ordered new rackets, which is exciting too. I ordered a Völkl DNX 7. We decided that the grip on my old racket is too big for me, and that is why I've been having some wrist problems lately. Plus, this new racket is lighter, but not by much. I can't wait to get it! It was back ordered, so hopefully I will get it this Friday. If not, I should have it the following Tuesday.
Work is still busy, but at least it's still only 2 days a week. We had two families move out last week so we've got some space again. Hopefully we'll be able to get some new families in that are much more mellow. We had a lot of issues with the families that were there, so hopefully the problems will start settling down now. Two of the families that are there now will be moving out soon too, probably by the end of July/beginning of August.
Hannah is doing well. Believe it or not, she'll be 6 months old tomorrow!!! I can't believe how fast the last six months have gone! It's nuts! I swear she's gone through a growth spurt recently, because I feel like she's just gotten huge! We will be getting her a new carseat soon - probably in the next month or less. She's almost out grown the length restriction on her current one! She can sit up in the front of the grocery carriage now, which is fun. I think she enjoys it more too, because she can look all around. Of course, that also means we need to be much more careful about planning shopping times, so that it doesn't interfere with nap time. Learned that one the hard way this past Friday! =)
Tomorrow we are going to do Hannah's 6 month portraits at the Target in Concord, which will be fun. I'm knitting Hannah a dress and I'm trying really hard to be done in time for her to wear it for the photos tomorrow, but I'm not sure if that will happen or not. I'm hoping... hence why I'm going to finish this post now and post more tomorrow night after the photos!

I can't believe she sat up today!
Well, it finally happened. Hannah sat up all by herself today, and I have the photos to prove it. She stayed sitting for about 3 minutes before toppling over, but she was so proud of herself! I am very proud of her too, especially since that means I can stop lugging the car seat into the grocery store now! We have one of those seat covers for the carriages at the grocery store that has an over the shoulder harness, so it will keep her sitting up, but won't restrict her. I can't believe she can sit up on her own now!!!
Otherwise, that's really about all the news from here. We're going on a mini-vacation with my parents this coming weekend up to Wells, Maine. I'm excited to go. It's only 2 nights, but it should still be a lot of fun.

Hannah Newsflash!
Hannah laughs out loud for the first time!

While playing with her dad on Wednesday night, Hannah was heard laughing out loud for the first time. The sound was so wonderful that it made her mommy and daddy laugh right along with her. Hannah's laughter for the first time was extra special, since she has been fighting off an illness for almost a week, with repeated trips to the doctor. Hannah's laughter is a sound her mommy and daddy can't wait to hear again!

Long time, no big news!
Well, as you probably saw in my post two days ago, Hannah has FINALLY cut her first tooth. My little baby is getting so big! She has turned 5 months old today! At her check up last Friday, she measured in at 27 inches and 16 pounds! She's almost outgrown her car seat. If she keeps growing at this pace, she'll outgrow it by August. I'm hoping to get some pictures of her posted later today, but we'll see what happens =)
I spent the morning weeding our garden, which is coming along nicely. My cherry tomatoes already have some growing on it, which is really exciting, and the lettuce is almost big enough to start cutting and eating! Something has been eating the leaves of my pepper plants, though, and I'm not really sure what it is. It kind of looks like ants. They're not getting very big, but they do have some buds on them, which is promising. Even if the peppers aren't huge, that is fine. I'd just be excited to get some out of my own garden! The zucchini and summer squash are doing FANTASTIC, and growing like crazy. That's one of the things I'm the MOST excited about! We eat TONS of zucchini and summer squash every summer, so I can't wait to not have to get any from the grocery store! Granted, I usually get it at Fiddleheads down in Dover, it would still be nice to have our own.
So that's about all the excitement our little home can handle at this point =). John's school finished up on Friday, so he's now on vacation. We have a long to-do list this summer though, so we'll see just how much "vacation" he really gets. Tomorrow we are going to a family reunion-thing, so hopefully that will be fun. We're staying overnight at my parents too, which is another good thing about John being on vacation. It makes doing stuff on the weekends SOOO much easier.
Anyway, got to run. Time to go pick up cat litter. Woo hoo. =)
